Merry Christmas, Darling

(inslee haynes illustrations)

I know, I know, it's Thanksgiving! And I fully appreciate that... while mentally thinking ahead to the festivities that await. Whether it's a cookie exchange, a family get-together, a cocktail party or a night out... holiday looks are one of my favorite things about the holidays. And what better way to accessorize than with a fresh face? Any excuse to dress up, wear a red lip and/or fur and I'm in! Current looks I'm loving for holiday outings:

And to top it all off (pun intended)... these tanks (perfect under a fabulous fur coat... but appropriate for the blazing (fire-roasted) indoor temps once inside. Maybe it's time for me to address my obsession with black and white...

Holiday Wear, Part III

If your holiday season consists more of punching the clock than refilling the punch bowl, these options might be more your forte. If your office is anything like mine, we are always scurrying around like elves at the North Pole making sure deadlines get met before the sugar coma takes everyone off the radar for a few weeks. And since I work in what was once a coffee warehouse... it can get a bit chilly. Comfort and ease reign supreme, but no one wants to look like they wore their flannel jammies to work (I'm talking to myself on that one)
Thankfully, H & M is to the rescue.
cheap + comfy+ chic = sold.

And if you happen to have a last minute party... these items have you covered while keeping most of that festive green in your wallet.

Holiday Wear Part II

Tis the season for holiday parties... Part II (for Part I click here); this time from trusty asos.com. Not only is this site uber cheap (just adjust the little sliding bar to the appropriate dollar, and shop away) but also cute! They don't call it, As Seen On Screen for nothin'.

Winter weddings or black tie work party? No problem.

Night out with friends, family, or co-workers in freezing temps?
Pair these pants with any of these shirts and a pea coat or fur coat for a warmer festive outfit.

Need a dressier way to keep your legs from freezing?
Try a tea length skirt.

Pair a longer skirt with a crop top like above: $47

All around fabulous party dress?

And what good is a chic outfit with shoes?

So what are you waiting for? Eat, Drink, and be Merry.
