Screen Shopping

I must confess that I haven't been shopping in probably close to a year or more. Yes, I've bought things here and there, and experienced a birthday and Christmas, so I'm not saying I lack for anything. But, I haven't really satisfied that urge to splurge in quite some time. There are many reasons why, which I won't bore you with, but I'm almost to a place where I can allow myself a few indulgences here and there. That is what I do want to share with you. The things of which I've been window shopping (er, screen shopping?) for quite some time now, and will finally be able to pull the trigger. Can you tell I'm excited?

So, I'll be hiding and watching for a few more weeks, but I promise when my piggy bank has anything left to spare, some of these will find a home in my closet. And I couldn't be more thrilled.

Hoilday Wear Part I

Tis the season for trimming the tree, hanging stockings, and decking the halls in general. And with any luck, holiday parties.

In case I just so happen to get invited to a million festive soirees, here's what I've got my eye on... from Topshop.
I love these options because one is very ornamental and glitzy, two has a sophisticated / Gatsby vibe, three is very classic, and four is an edgy version of the classic.

These I love because they're a bit unexpected. The long leopard dress is fun and with a wine lip is very holiday, the white is a winter white which is oh-so glam, and the pink is beyond pricey but unexpected and fun with a bright red lip.

Now, for those who are really edgy, I love, love, love the idea of a pantsuit:
The bird-patterned jumpsuit has just a hint of the Christmas-y colors and embellishments to catch everyone's attention, and let's be real, you're not gonna wear the dark green, sequined one without turning some heads.

This one would be great with opaque black tights and a fun shoe in case the weather does as it usually does and warms up just in time for old Saint Nick.

If you're not in the market for glitzy garments, perhaps a new pair of shoes will do the trick to jazz up your skinny jeans, chunky sweaters, and the party dresses already hanging in the back of your closet.

Festive footwear for us tall girls.

A gal can dream, right? Next installment of Holiday Wear features my finds from asos. Stay tuned.
